Weekly Website Wednesday – Week #13
It’s unlucky week number thirteen, let’s see if I can ruffle some feathers by talking about politics this week … that sounds like a good idea, right? Moreover, as a “Business”, my advice this week would be, maybe don’t talk about politics, at least not while representing your kennel. We’ve seen it over and over the past few years where a company takes a stance on an issue, only to face backlash from one side or the other. I’m not saying you shouldn’t have your own opinions, or that you shouldn’t share them, talk about them or be proud of them … just that you might try to delineate your personal comments from your business comments when posting to your Kennel website or social media. The last time our country was this politically charged was prior to the civil war. Everybody is super sensitive about politics right now and your political comments could cost you customers.
Weekly Website Wednesday – Week #12
Somehow, I’ve made it to week 12! I originally thought I could sit down and write this piece every Sunday, getting it done early, so I could relax on Wednesday … so far that hasn’t exactly happened. When Wednesday rolls around, I’m usually struggling to put something together to post to the NetKennel website. I enjoy writing this weekly update as much as you enjoy reading it and I have plenty of other things I could be working on, so why continue writing it?

Last week I posted an article, written entirely by Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), about how it could help you manage your kennel website. I figured I’d ruffle some feathers by letting A.I. create the whole post for me … but, sadly, I didn’t get any hate mail. I was on vacation last week, and since I’m pretty much my only employee, I had to outsource the job to someone, or in this case, something … plus, it served as a nice segue for this article where I talk more about the downsides of A.I. and the ethical use of it for your kennel.
